Recognized as a close ally of Arvind Kejriwal and a key player in the party's strategic operations, AAP MP Raghav Chadha had been noticeably missing due to an emergency eye surgery. He underwent a vitrectomy in the United Kingdom earlier this month.
Chadha's extended absence sparked curiosity, particularly during a challenging period for the party, including Kejriwal's recent detention. However, AAP reassured supporters that Chadha would be back to contribute to the Lok Sabha election campaign once his health allowed.
Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj revealed in a statement on May 2, "Raghav Chadha had a significant eye surgery in the UK, which was critical and carried a risk of potential blindness. He will return to India and join our election efforts as soon as his health improves."
